I’m a 28-year-old female who has trouble falling asleep. I experience restlessness, often waking up multiple times during the night. Are there any Ayurvedic tips to improve my sleep quality?
Ayurveda recommends establishing a regular sleep routine, avoiding stimulating activities before bedtime, and creating a calming environment. Consuming a warm glass of milk with a pinch of nutmeg or practicing meditation before bedtime can aid in better sleep. If you still don't get benefit you can go for Shirodhara treatment, in which a soothing material like medicated oil or buttermilk will be poured over your head gently for about 45 mins. Along with this you will be given diet and lifestyle modifications which will reduce your stress and help to improve your overall health.
